Dr. Nelson is a Wyoming and Idaho-licensed psychologist providing forensic psychological services in Wyoming and Idaho and beyond.  Dr. Nelson has been in continuous practice in Jackson since 1995, providing an array of psychological services, including psychotherapy, psychological testing, and consultation. As of 2018, Dr. Nelson's specific area of practice has been in forensic psychology, including consultation to attorneys and courts; evaluations for competency to stand trial, mental state at the time of offense, and risk assessment; independent psychological evaluations for personal injury cases; and military forensic psychology.  Dr. Nelson has over 30 years of experience in working with a variety of client populations, including children, adolescents, individual adults, couples and families.  Dr. Nelson has been qualified as a court-appointed expert in various jurisdictions in Wyoming and Idaho, as well as for the military judicial system.
